BURBANK, CA (February 13, 2020) – The path to DC’s future continues to unfold in Generation One: Age of Mysteries! On sale in May, Generation One: Age of Mysteries is the first of five oversized Prestige format one-shots, each detailing a different age in DC’s storied, super heroic legacy!

Generation One: Age of Mysteries follows DC’s Generation Zero: Gods Among Us, in stores on Free Comic Book Day 2020.

Readers of Generation One: Age of Mysteries will witness firsthand major events from throughout the history of the DC universe as seen through the eyes of characters like Wonder Woman, Lucius Fox, Alfred Pennyworth, Green Lantern (Alan Scott), The Spectre (Jim Corrigan), Mister Terrific (Terry Sloane), and others. The series of one-shots will also expose secrets from DC’s history, such as:

What was the previously undocumented “big bang” of the Age of Mysteries? 
Which character truly ushers in the dawn of Super Heroes, inspiring all the rest?

These five books will have all the answers to these questions, setting up DC’s boldest storylines ever while laying the groundwork for more excitement to come. The five Generation issues will feature a who’s who of creative talent, with an overarching story by Brian Michael Bendis, Dan Jurgens, Andy Schmidt, Robert Venditti, and Joshua Williamson, illustrated by artists including Doug Mahnke, Bryan Hitch, Mikel Janín, Ivan Reis, David Marquez, and more.

Generation One: Age of Mysteries is scripted by Andy Schmidt, with lead art by Doug Mahnke. Each of DC’s Generation one-shots will feature a cover by Jim Cheung and a variant cover by Gary Frank. Generation Two: Age of the Metahuman, Generation Three: Age of Crisis, Generation Four: Age of Rebirth and Generation Five: Age of Tomorrow will follow monthly after Generation One: Age of Mysteries.

A new adventure begins for the DC Super Hero Girls with a new comic book series, DC SUPER HERO GIRLS: SPACED OUT, available digitally. The new story is the next installment from the popular DC Super Hero Girls franchise, which includes animated movies, TV and webisodes, apparel, toys and publishing. Series writer Shea Fontana and artist Agnes Garbowska introduce the latest adventure featuring Jessica Cruz, Earth’s new Green Lantern, as she heads to Oa with some of her best friends to introduce herself to the Green Lantern Corps. The 12-chapter series begins Monday, November 20.

Fans of the DC SUPER HERO GIRLS series can hear all about the new tale by joining a special Facebook Live broadcast on the DC Kids page on Monday, November 13 at 3p.m. PST. KFC and DC Entertainment announced today the third installment of the popular Colonel Sanders and Justice League team-up comic book series will be available in print exclusively in DC’s booth (#1915) at San Diego Comic-Con: International, July 19-23, 2017. Created by DC’s Custom Creative Studio, the finger-lickin’-good comic will also be available for digital download for a limited time starting on July 19.
 
In KFC #3 ACROSS THE UNIVERSE the Colonel goes cosmic in a star-spanning quest to bring crunchy, spicy satisfaction to a hungry universe, only to face a “thieving varmint” who steals his space-bound Zinger chicken sandwiches. Written by Robbie Thompson (Silk) and Justin Jordan (Green Lantern), and illustrated by Barnaby Bagenda (The Omega Men), Planet of the Apes/Green Lantern debuts February 1, 2017 as a six-issue monthly limited series

San Diego, CA (July 22, 2016) – IDW Publishing and DC Entertainment will continue their successful editorial mash-ups and bring fans two new comic book crossovers based on some of their most popular properties, including a sequel to the smash-hit co-publishing venture Star Trek/Green Lantern and an all new crossover with animation-inspired versions of Batman and Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Captain Kirk and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise will once again cross paths with the Green Lantern Corps in a sequel to last year’s Star Trek/Green Lantern series. The creative team of Mike Johnson and Angel Hernandez will reteam for another epic space opera, this one picking up the new status quo where it left off and introducing additional cosmic heroes and villains familiar to fans of both series. This series is slated for a winter 2016 launch.

Following the recent success of Batman/TMNT, IDW, DC, and Nickelodeon are also happy to announce another pairing between the Caped Crusader and the Ninja Turtles: Batman/TMNT Adventures, coming this November. Based on the animated versions of both series, this storyline for fans of all ages will bring the Dark Knight of the beloved Batman: The Animated Series in contact with Nickelodeon’s animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The dynamic duo of writer Matthew K. Manning (Beware the Batman) and artist Jon Sommariva (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Amazing Adventures) will team on the series.

DC Comics Rebirth catalog hits comic shops tomorrow and few Green Lantern tidbits have hit a day early namely hints at the direction of the story line. Check them out below via Newsarama.

​Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman comprise the big guns of the Justice League, but some of the other members have some major changes coming their way in Rebirth as well. For example, rookie Green Lanterns Jessica Cruz and Simon Baz will have to deal with a "rogue Guardian" in their new series.

"The Guardians created the most powerful weapon in the DC Universe-the Green Lantern ring," said Green Lanterns writer Sam Humphries. "But a rogue Guardian also created something more powerful and more unpredictable."

DC will then release 32 ongoing titles, 17 twice monthly titles and 15 monthly with a lower price point of $2.99 (something DC has done before). DC will make more announcements at WonderCon in March. The Green Lantern related titles will include GREEN LANTERNS REBIRTH #1, GREEN LANTERNS #1 (in June), HAL JORDAN & THE GREEN LANTERN CORPS REBIRTH #1, and HAL JORDAN & THE GREEN LANTERN CORPS #1 (in July) both being twice monthly titles.

This points to the fact we are most likely in for some changes in the Green Lantern Universe. When you look at the titles Green Lanterns sound like it will focus on more then one Green Lantern but being it doesn't have Corps in the name could mean it focuses on the earth Green Lanterns minus Hal possibly, the other title Hal Jordan & The Green Lantern Corps would sound like it would be Hal and the rest of the Corps possibly in space, although all of this is speculation.

There are question marks with the Rebirth,  Sinestro appears to be cancelled so what is going to happen to him and the other color Corps, also Omega Men ends does this mean Kyle will be back in the fold with the other GL's. There is also a group shot in the Johns video that appears to have a Green Lantern (Jade or Jessica Cruz?) in it, our friends at the Blog Of Oa speculate this is the new Titans line-up (once again have a GL in it). Only time will tell with this what the details are which we will post as we get word.

Tom Taylor announced at NYCC the new Green Lantern miniseries "Edge of Oblivion" that will feature Ethan Van Sciver on art, a fact that will surely please a lot of GL fans. 

Also revealed was the variant cover by Ivan Reis, another GL fan favorite (above). Edge Of Oblivion will be six issues and will pick up after Lost Army.

As pointed out by The Blog Of Oa it is unsure whether Cullen Bunn will have any input into the series since it seems to being continuing what he started in Lost Army.

No word on release date but most likely it will be the beginning of 2016.
